I hold an engineering degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with over 8 years of experience educating on product design and product engineering. I spent the last 6 years working at Apple Inc. specializing in wearable and mobile technology. Currently, I am an iOS/mobile software engineer leading the development of our point of sale solutions responsible for over 60,000,000 transactions resulting in over $28.5 Billions transacted. The Application is supported in over 25 different countries with localization in both language and integration of financial services and institutions to support a wide range of tender options such as cash, credit cards, loans, offline loans, and financing options. The intersectionality of my professional experience as a lead developer on an industry-leading finTech mobile platform and my ethnic background as a native Dominican raised in a developing economy gives me the ideal background and experience to support the upward mobility of users/consumers in emerging markets as they integrate into a digital economy.
